It’s nice to get away from it all for a bit isn’t it? That’s why each year our young people go away on a number of holidays.

The first is our annual residential. The whole of Bunyan Youth heads up to Buckden Towers, a big old Castle. We have loads of fun doing activities such as Rock Climbing, Canoeing, High Ropes, Swimming as well as really grappling with God. For 2010 we have a guest speaker coming as we explore relationships, how we relate to God and what God intended for our relationships with each other.

In the summer we head to the Soul Survivor Festival, an amazing 5 days camping in tents, living life together. In 2009 twenty of us went to Soul Survivor Week A in Staffordshire. God met with us in amazing ways and we really grew as individuals and as a group.

We feel youth holiday’s are really important because it’s in these times that you live together and in community God speaks to us, sharpens us and helps us to grow.
