The Pugh family are working in a remote part of North East Tanzania with an Unreached People Group. They have been working on a multicultural team led by a Tanzanian Pastor for 6 years.  The team is involved in evangelism, discipleship, agriculture, teaching, and nurturing the newly planted church.

The people group's language is, as yet, unwritten. The team, together with the community have developed a set of 29 oral Bible Stories that have been recorded in their own language.  It has been exciting to see people from the village sharing these stories with their friends and relatives and wonderful that people have become Christians and grow in faith in a place where there was previously no church.

This year, in partnership with Christian translation organisations, the team is beginning an oral translation of the book of Luke. In this project, the Pughs will be working with communities and churches in the wider area around them.
