At Bunyan we run a range of short courses from Alpha to First Steps, as well as pre-baptism sessions and pre-membership sessions. Please scroll down to read more about the Alpha course and the First Steps course.

Alpha is a chance to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. It’s ideal for anyone who is new to - or interested in - Christianity. It’s completely free so why not come along for tea, coffee and cakes, a short talk from a DVD followed by open discussion in small groups where you can share your thoughts and ask questions. Alpha includes a taster session, 7 sessions and an away day together.

Our next Alpha course starts on Thursday January 26th and runs for seven weeks (dates and topics below). It will take place in the Lounge, the small building to the right of the church (on the church grounds) at 7.30-9pm. If you're interested in coming, please drop us a line via the contact page.

First Steps is designed to lead people, step by step, to a fuller understanding of what Christians believe. It’s a series of Bible studies aiming to help you live your life with God and is suitable for all ages and backgrounds. Running at various times based on demand, it can be run on a one-to-one basis, in a small group or used as a follow-on from the Alpha Course.
